This is an organization dear to our hearts. Over the past six years, we have lost family
members to Leukemia and currently have one of our family members in remission with
Leukemia. My son who was deeply affected by this and who has never ran before, trained for
six months and joined the San Diego Chapter of Team-In-Training. He ran for his father in the
San Diego Rock N Roll Marathon and raised over $2000.00 that year. Cancer visits too many
homes everyday and affects the very young to the very old. Nobody escapes cancer, we all
either have a family member or know somebody who has not survived this horrible disease.
Research has come a long way but we still have a long way to go before a cure for all
cancers are found. We ask that if you visit the Team-In-Training site, that you would make a
donation to help someone else’s  family member benefit from all that they do and the
research that goes on everyday to bring us closer to a ‘Cure’!
